Our uncapping knife is VERY sharp and is serrated on both sides for right and left handed people. Here is a nice quick tip, if you want to uncap faster, keep a pot of boiling water near by and sit your knife blade in the water to heat up. The knife will BLAST through wax. BE SURE TO WIPE THE WATER OFF THE KNIFE BEFORE UNCAPPING.
